THE BETTS TRUCK PARTS & SERVICE STORY
In the early 1970s, our customers expressed interest in Betts Company providing installation and repair services for suspension applications.
Therefore, we opened our first distribution branch operation in San Leandro, CA., focusing exclusively on suspension products and services – AND THAT ESTABLISHED BETTS TRUCK PARTS & SERVICE!
It wasn’t long before customers encouraged us to expand our locations and product offerings so that they could more readily appreciate Betts’ renowned attention to quality, detail, and customer service.
In the 1980s, our company elected to diversify and expand Betts Truck Parts & Service from a single location in San Leandro to the eight locations we have today in California, Arizona, and Oregon.
Our expansion came at a time when more and more companies, particularly manufacturers, were leaving California and the U.S., in general, due to the high cost of doing business.
Betts Company has always and still believes in the promise of American business.
Our diversification has helped assure that Betts Company and its divisions will continue to enjoy a leadership position in these selected markets (and more) for many generations to come.
