Betts Truck Parts & Service Expands Capabilities at Portland Branch

PORTLAND, OR, August 18, 2026 — Betts Truck Parts & Service has expanded the service capabilities of its Portland branch, allowing the location to serve a broader range of vehicles and provide additional repair services to customers throughout the region.

The Portland operation can now service light- and medium-duty commercial vehicles, including Ford F-450 and F-550 trucks, while also taking on motorhomes. It continues to provide service for the heavy-duty trucks and trailers that have long been a core part of its business.

The Portland team is also performing additional leaf spring repair work, including re-arching, spring beef-ups and other repairs that, depending on the condition of the spring, can provide customers with an alternative to complete spring replacement.

“We’re expanding the types of vehicles and work we can take on here in Portland,” said Jeremy McDonald, Service Manager. “The goal is to continue building what we can offer while making sure we’re providing customers with quality work and the right service for their vehicles.”

The branch has also implemented an additional quality-control process in which a second technician cross-checks completed work before the vehicle leaves the shop.

“These changes allow us to serve customers and vehicles we haven’t traditionally worked on at the Portland branch,” said Lars Nissen, Portland Branch Manager. “We’re already seeing new business coming into the shop as a result.”
